“Boris worked for Herbalife from Aug 2007 to March 2010. He began as the Manager of Internet Marketing for the EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa) region of Herbalife for the first two years and was then promoted to Sr. Manager in charge of Internet Strategy. As manager of Internet Marketing for his region, he worked with the global corporate groups as well as with the local markets to plan and execute the various web properties needed for Distributors and customers. This included rolling out the core Herbalife properties of Herbalife.com (Consumer) and MyHerbalife.com (Distributor) to the 37 markets in his region. Rolling these out with his relatively small team meant that Boris had to wear many hats including understanding the technology of each property as well as planning the content around each market, which is not small feat for a region with 37 countries, 19 languages and staff with varied skill-sets from market to market.
Boris also lead the charge for SEO. This was initiated by the EMEA region and became a global initiative. This became a driving initiative for EMEA, which lead to putting Boris in charge of EMEA Internet Strategy.
Boris left the company to move back to Australia with his family. I have worked with him for his full time here at Herbalife as the Director of Internet on a global scale and then in IT. His leadership in his region, as well as his warm and cooperative personality with the global, country and local staff, are greatly missed. His skill and passion for the Internet channel is obvious and he is constantly driving towards progress. This truly motivates those around him. Any company would be lucky to have him on its staff.”
